This kit is a script and shot plan, not an automatic recording of the live app. Record each scene yourself following the guidance below — every sample screen referenced is the labeled demo tour, so no real client or contractor data ever ends up on camera.
Part One
60-Second Narration Script
Read at a relaxed pace — roughly 150 words per minute. Each line is timed to its scene.
Connecticut's most discerning homeowners need contractors they can trust. Now there's a platform built for you.
Apply online in minutes. Pass a one-time compliance screening, and you're in the region's pre-vetted partner network.
When a project opens in your towns, the alert hits your phone instantly. Tap Claim to reserve your assessment slot — 24 hours, exclusively yours.
On site, one tap checks you in with a single GPS reading. Walk the property, record your measurements, and build your own quote — your labor, your materials, your profit markup.
From there, Velocity does the selling. We present your bid, close the contract, and collect payment. You never negotiate, chase, or invoice the homeowner.
The winning project dispatches straight to your dashboard. Work the job on your terms, update progress from your phone.
And when you mark it complete, your payout lands in your bank account through Stripe — one hundred percent of your submitted quote. No fees. No deductions.
Keep every dollar you quote. Apply today.
Part Two
Scene-by-Scene Shot List
Eight scenes, cut to the narration timecodes. The contractor payout rules shown are the platform's actual economics: 100% of the submitted quote, no fees, no deductions.
Scene 1 — The Hook
Homepage hero (live site or published app). Slow scroll or static hero shot of the moody estate photography.
Framing: Full-width desktop capture, 1500px browser window. Optional: end on the exterior services section.
Narration
"Connecticut's most discerning homeowners need contractors they can trust. Now there's a platform built for you."
Keep off camera
Nothing sensitive on this screen. Keep the shot under 6 seconds.
Scene 2 — Apply & Screening
/subcontractor-onboarding — scroll slowly from the eligibility panel through the territory and application intake sections.
Framing: Desktop capture, centered. Follow the natural scroll of the page.
Narration
"Apply online in minutes. Pass a one-time compliance screening, and you're in the region's pre-vetted partner network."
Keep off camera
Do not record an admin's partner-application review screen — that view contains real applicant data.
Scene 3 — Job Alert & Claim
Exterior Partner Portal opportunity feed with the demo/sample data — or the /process-demo tour Steps 1–3. Show the alert card, then a tap on Claim with the 24-hour window.
Framing: Record on a phone-shaped or full-screen view; the claim countdown is the money shot.
Narration
"When a project opens in your towns, the alert hits your phone instantly. Tap Claim to reserve your assessment slot — 24 hours, exclusively yours."
Keep off camera
Only demo/sample leads. Never show real client names, addresses, or phone numbers from a live feed.
Scene 4 — On-Site Visit & Your Quote
/process-demo Steps 4–5, or the real proposal builder with sample figures. Sequence: GPS check-in card, measurement rows, then the quote summary with raw labor + materials and profit markup.
Framing: Tight crops on each input; cut on the final quote total appearing.
Narration
"On site, one tap checks you in with a single GPS reading. Walk the property, record your measurements, and build your own quote — your labor, your materials, your profit markup."
Keep off camera
Label sample figures on screen as 'Sample'. Never show the client price or any Velocity markup in this scene.
Scene 5 — Velocity Handles the Client
/process-demo Step 6 — the client review card. Slow pan across 'Your bid shown to client' row, ending on the 'Handled internally by Velocity' row.
Framing: Static or very slow pan; let the text register.
Narration
"From there, Velocity does the selling. We present your bid, close the contract, and collect payment. You never negotiate, chase, or invoice the homeowner."
Keep off camera
Never capture the admin proposal-assembly view or any client-facing price totals — the homeowner comparison numbers stay off camera.
Scene 6 — Dispatch & Work
/process-demo Step 7 — dispatched project card. Then, if you have a safe demo project, the real partner dashboard's active-project view.
Framing: Medium shot; baseline photos and progress form are good B-roll.
Narration
"The winning project dispatches straight to your dashboard. Work the job on your terms, update progress from your phone."
Keep off camera
Skip any admin dashboard. Skip real work orders — use the demo tour card or a dedicated test project.
Scene 7 — The Payout
/process-demo Step 8 — quote and payout rows ($4,836 → $4,836). Linger on the payout line; it is the emotional peak of the video.
Framing: Slow zoom or hold on 'Your payout: 100% of your quote'.
Narration
"And when you mark it complete, your payout lands in your bank account through Stripe — one hundred percent of your submitted quote. No fees. No deductions."
Keep off camera
No real payout records or bank details from any live contractor account.
Scene 8 — Call to Action
Branded end card: logo, 'Keep 100% of your submitted quote', and the apply URL (subcontractor-onboarding page on your connected domain).
Framing: Static end card, 2 seconds, fade in.
Narration
"Keep every dollar you quote. Apply today."
Keep off camera
Use your final connected domain, not the builder preview URL.
Part Three
Recording & Editing Guide
Prepare a safe recording environment
Use the /process-demo tour and the public onboarding page for every screen recording — they contain only labeled sample data. Never record admin dashboards, real leads, or real client records.
Set your frame
Record at the desktop preview width (about 1500px) in a clean browser, or on a phone in a device frame for the field scenes. Hide bookmarks and personal tabs.
Capture each scene separately
Record 10–15 seconds per scene — more than you need. Slow, deliberate cursor movement; pause a full second on any number you want the viewer to read.
Record the narration
Read the script at a relaxed pace (about 150 words per minute). Record audio separately, then trim each scene to match its narration timecodes.
Assemble and polish
Cut scenes to the timecodes, add subtle cross-fades, the navy/champagne end card, and optional captions. Keep the total at 60 seconds — short enough to hold attention, long enough to tell the story.
Export and distribute
Export at 1080p. Use the teaser clip you already have as a 6-second hook for texts and social, and the full 60-second walkthrough on your recruitment page and outreach emails.
Part Four
Ready-Made Assets
Brand teaser clip (6 seconds)
The AI-generated navy-and-champagne teaser — use it as a short hook for texts and social posts, embedded on the public demo tour page.
Download the teaser clipSample-data walkthrough to record
The /process-demo tour page is the safe on-camera source for Scenes 3–7: every figure in it is clearly labeled sample data, and no client pricing or markup ever appears.
